This reserve tank is found in a sandpit in Maridia. Starting from the Save Room in the middle of the area , run along the bottom of the room to the far side. Shoot or bomb the floor to give access to the lower area in the sand.
Run to the left and over the first quicksand trap, then drop into the second one. Fall through the next roo m and as you enter the large, cavernous room, jump onto the ledge to your left. Jump up and shoot the block, then navigate the tunnel to the left. The square blocks at your feet break away so don't stand on them, but the square blocks above them can be shot to reveal the path to the Reserve Tank and a Missile Expansion Tank. While in morph ball mode, use the Spring Ball to jump up and into the small tunnel, then roll up to the Reserve Tank.
