Blood chemistry tests measure different substances in the blood, including electrolytes, fats, proteins, glucose sugar , and enzymes.

Specific blood chemistry tests include a basic metabolic panel BMP , a comprehensive metabolic panel CMP , kidney function tests , liver function tests , and an electrolyte panel.
